About Us
Eugene's journey in the glass world began with inspiration from his older cousin, who specialized in crafting high-end chandeliers.
He pursued his passion by enrolling in the renowned Scientific Glass Technology program at Salem Community College. Upon graduation, he secured a position at Precision Glassblowing of Colorado, where he excelled in working with high-tolerance ICP glassware and optical windows, with the help of his mentors. After nearly four years at Precision, Eugene joined Allen Scientific, a research-focused company, where he tackled various challenging glass projects.
After four years at Allen, Eugene moved across the country to Lancaster, PA to be closer to family and founded DeMarzo Scientific Glass. He now collaborates with universities and works as a contractor for other glass companies nationwide, emphasizing quality craftsmanship and customer service. His commitment to the field is further exemplified by his past role as the Chair of the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Scientific Glassblower Society.
